The current architectural boom in the High Tatras is not exactly the demonstration of sense and harmony of the environment and architecture. Rather to the contrary. I have been looking for harmony in prehistoric megalithic structures which reflect the symphony of material, nature and human skills.
I have created Menhir at the frozen lake using simple tools. I obtained construction material from broken stones which were transported to the site. Ephemerality of stone architecture is underlined by the laws of nature. As a result of warming, the work was returned back to the arms of nature.
