About This Project

The work of Pietà focuses on the process of death, on the transition from the realm of the living to the realm of the dead. For the emptying of the form, for the loss of mass and the creation of emptiness. The raw cowhide material plays a key role. It hides both spheres in itself. Alive and dead. Like no other.
