The concept is based on the rigid rules which are more important than the result itself. One day, one wood chopping block, one tool, no additional treatment or modifications. Only what I am able to create in one day. It concerns traditionally represented theme of a figure in traditional material using traditional technique; it rather concerns sport achievement than traditional carving. Waste serves as material for the works from IKEA series. The work takes into account space, sport and physical load and experiment when I am loosing control over the outcome. The sculpture is being understood here in the processual-performative nature but at the same time it is striving for hyper-materiality.
